Nicole joins our board with more than 14 years experience in management, project planning, and public service. She currently works as an independent judicial officer for the state of North Carolina, and in this capacity works with law enforcement, court officials, outside agencies, the general public, and offenders and their family members.

Nicole's experience is informed by her work with the  North Carolina Office of the Courts, Judicial System as Deputy Clerk of Superior Court, Bond Forfeiture acting as liaison between the School Board Attorney and multiple county licensed bondsmen through North Carolina Department of Insurance. In addition, she brings her previous experience as a bookkeeper and financial manager. She holds a BS in Law/Public Administration from Campbell University.

In the community, Nicole as served as a Board/Committee member for the Key Fundraiser for Communities in Schools of Carteret County raising over $75,000 from 2011-2012, and as Treasurer of the Seashore Soccer League in from 2009-2011.
